Storeroom Attendant

Job Summary
​Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customer’s location to fulfil daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory. They are responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment.

​-Hours: Sun-Tues, every other Wed., 6am-6pm, paid lunch.
​-Training will be Mon-Fri 8am-430 pm for around 1 week.
​-This is intended to be coverage for an associate out on medical leave, there is a possibility for extension or temp to hire if the situation changes.
​-This is a facility that manufactures microchips for cell phones.
​-Position will be 50% issuing out parts and materials, 50% stocking gowning rooms.
​-This position requires a lot of walking.
​-Will deliver parts to between around 20 different delivery zones in warehouse.
​-May use pack mule (similar to golf cart).
​-Will use pushcart and standup forklift.
​-Must be comfortable with heights. Top shelf is 25 feet.
​-This facility has over 23000 active parts.
​-Will be asked to download app onto personal cell to assist with part delivery process (only utilized during working hours).
​-Customer service skills required.
​-Computer skills are needed. Will use different systems and email.
​-Vallen has 45 minutes to deliver a part once the client places the order, so this can be a fast-paced position.
​-The facility is temp controlled, but can get cold/warm due to dock doors being open for deliveries.
​-Steel toe shoes preferred. Close toe shoes required.
​-Will lift up to 50# unassisted.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
