Summary:
This position is specifically responsible for accurate selecting of product from warehouse locations and loading of outbound trailers.
Contingent worker will perform other duties as assigned.
This position requires being on your feet for the entire shift.
Candidates must be able to lift 50lbs and will have assistance for heavier packages.
Candidates should have warehouse experience and experience in picking, packing, and floor loading trailers.
We will review resumes and select candidates based on their experience and track record.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
Minimum two years warehouse experience is required, or one year warehouse experience with our company.
Must have adequate reading and math skill, and ability to write legibly.
Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks including, walking, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods of time and ability to lift up to 100lbs.
Must have ability to listen to direction, manage time and complete all work as assigned within established timeline.
Must be team player and have ability to interact with fellow workers.
Typically, a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction – prepare, provide and convey diversified information.
Working conditions regularly expose individuals to conditions that could result in minor cuts and burns.
There is frequent exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners.
Physical effort is required in the lifting of tool cases, and assorted equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as the ability to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds.
Frequent stooping, bending, squatting and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level.
