CODEplus is hiring an Enterprise Architect to work under the guidance of senior government architects and with government subject matter experts, industry, and vendor representatives to develop architecture artifacts and models through the re-engineering of Department of Defense Business processes. To be successful in this role you should have a wide skillset, being adept at analyzing current state pain points, root cause analysis, current doctrine, policy, laws and regulations, developing a future state vision, keeping the user at the center of the analysis being conducted, and codifying the discussion and decisions into process models.
Responsibilities:
- Directs and participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation and development
- Participate in workshops with stakeholders to understand the client’s business landscape
- Experience in one of the following: Finance, Logistics, or Acquisition within the DoD and proficiency in the systems that support those domains
- Utilize Business Analysis and Re-Engineering techniques, such as Current State Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Fit/Gap or Fit-to-Standard Analysis, and Future State Ideation to drive outcomes and outputs that are used in the development of the to-be solution
- Conduct business process design/walkthroughs to demonstrate how business processes will function in the future state
- Develop future state process models (OV-6cs) for the delivery segment
- Responsible for working with supporting architects to update Capability Process Map Diagram (CPMD OV-5b.f), Operational Activity Catalog (OV-5a), Information Exchange Requirements (OV-3) and performers
- Develop future state process models (OV-6cs) for the delivery segment
- Will support capability definition, design analysis, implementation, and integration of a solution within the target architecture
- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business objectives and strategies and ensure the IT system architecture aligns and fully supports those objectives and strategies
- Manage enterprise architecture repository to ensure models and objects adhere to project standards and methods
Requirements:
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Undergraduate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related Business field
- Strong ability to break down problems, structure one’s own and other work, and deliver outcomes and valuable outputs on aggressive timelines
- Experience working in process improvement or process re-engineering initiatives
- At least 4 years of experience as a systems or business analyst, ideally with (SAP ERP systems) in a DoD environment (ideally Army) including business process knowledge of one of the following: A2R, P2S, P2P, O2C, B2R, SR2R, D2RR, CM or C2P
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture or information modeling frameworks and techniques (ideally DoDAF)
- Experience using enterprise architecture tools (ideally ARIS)
- Strong soft skills leading small groups of architects and practitioners, communication with functional and technical experts, and demonstrated ability building consensus
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
- Project management experience with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Customer serving personality with the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Attention to detail, particularly with data quality
- Strong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
