Job Description:
The ideal candidate will leverage their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights and conduct both recurring and ad hoc analyses for business users.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Present complex analyses to business partners, including executives, through reports and presentations.
- Identify and analyze trends or patterns within complex datasets.
- Collaborate with the Commerce Product team to address global fraud risks.
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Looker and Tableau for performance monitoring and exploratory analysis.
- Translate complex business questions into accurate SQL queries for data analysis.
- Understand critical data systems and business processes.
- Work with Data Science teams to enhance analyses using advanced modeling techniques.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Experience with large datasets and trend analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills for data issues.
- 1-3 years of hands-on SQL analytical experience, including ETL and dataset development.
- Preferred: 2 years of strategic analysis experience for business decision-making.
