Packaging Tech I

The Packaging Tech maintains and completes daily projects assigned by the Packaging Manager.

• Maintains proper organization of the Packaging and Distribution rooms.
• Ensures the organization and cleanliness of the Packaging department related rooms. Ensure organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area.
• Performs regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors, table, floors etc.).
• Contributes to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Processing department areas.
• Contributes and shows support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
• Follows through with cleaning and organizing SOPs after use of equipment or supplies.
• Checks final packaging to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant.
• Follows company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role.
• Follows all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
• Reports any improper action of compliance regulations.
• Follows instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to obtain a state marijuana agent card and pass a background check.
• Must be able to communicate with team effectively and professionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.
• Self-Motivated.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to stay focused.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time.
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
• The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
• The ability to complete fine motor functions.
• Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.
• Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals.
