Job Title: Survey Project Manager

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview Duties/Responsibilities:
- Will assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and the recruiting process.
- SIT or LS required
- Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction and other Survey Software
- Experience with GIS platforms is desirable
- Experience with Robotic Total Stations, GPS (including post processing).
- Experience with scanners, drones, and other emerging technologies is desirable
- Should be registered in Georgia or the ability to become registered within a year as a Land Surveyor.
- A demonstrated record of success on ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories, and other types of surveys
- Coordinates with office staff and clients as required.
- Create and manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocation
- Must have project management experience
- Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives.
- Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited program or a scientific area and/or equivalent work experience preferred. Will accept two year degree plus experience.
- Must be Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia, other states licenses are desirable
- Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) experience required
- 10 years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.
- 8 years of experience in land surveying
- SIT license
- 107 Remote Pilot’s Certification a plus
- Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Carlson
- LiDAR collection and software experience (TopoDOT and Pix4D) a plus
- Experienced with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable
- Working knowledge of GDOT SUE process desirable
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
