Objective:
The Business Process Reengineering Specialist (BPRS) will gather and document clear, unambiguous, and testable business requirements while ensuring a deep understanding of business needs. This role will serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, project team members, and the user community.
The BPRS will collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to analyze current and future-state business processes, data, and systems. This analysis will inform the development of business requirements aligned with system functionality needs.
Additionally, the BPRS will provide training, mentoring, and guidance to business analysts, quality assurance professionals, and subject matter experts. They will customize existing content, processes, and templates to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with standards, policies, and procedures. The role will also incorporate the use of Azure DevOps to facilitate project documentation and workflow in an agile development and maintenance environment.

The ideal candidate will have a background in training, mentoring, or teaching and a proven track record in business analysis, quality assurance, and process improvement within an Agile environment. Proficiency in Azure DevOps and experience facilitating collaboration across technical and non-technical teams is highly valued. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $66 and $69. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.

- Allocate 50% effort to gathering requirements for an upcoming IT project.
- Allocate 50% effort to leveraging existing templates to create content and reference materials for business analysts, quality assurance professionals, and business subject matter experts. This will enhance collaboration among business teams, technical staff, and the project management office.
- Additionally, this role will support production activities by managing the Azure DevOps backlog, user stories, and work progress tracking.

- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions to identify impacted business processes and document project business requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant project team members and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Maintain the project backlog in Agile environments, partnering with the product owner to prioritize tasks.
- Ensure business requirements align with the project scope and objectives.
- Promote stakeholder inclusion and awareness regarding data requirements and governance objectives.
- Support the resolution of critical IT issues related to business process reengineering.
- Provide analysis and recommendations for build-vs-buy decisions.
- Assess the impact of project scope or business requirement changes.
- Ensure completion, review, and approval of project deliverables related to business process reengineering.
- Work closely with project team members, including user interface/user experience (UI/UX) specialists, solution architects, database administrators, developers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure clear understanding of requirements, system functionality, and scalability.
