Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Data Integration Lead to join our Client's growing team. This technical role requires a capable individual who is familiar with DICOM, HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and IHE standards for EMR interoperability, specifically with Epic systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical data integration, data security protocols, and technical deployment in healthcare environments. The Clinical Data Integration Lead will be responsible for managing the integration of clinical data from multiple sources, supporting research collaborations, ensuring data security compliance, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the internal research group and customers on AI/scientific development projects.
Participate in customer research steering committee meetings to share project progress and collaborate on research needs.
Manage co-development initiatives with customer principal investigators (PIs), radiologists, and site research scientists, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Oversee device site data collection for scientific evidence supporting regulatory submissions.
Facilitate communication between engineering teams and customer research stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Oversee the integration of clinical data at customer product deployment sites, ensuring smooth data exchange.
Coordinate customer site networking requirements for efficient data exchange.
Respond to customer IT questions using domain expertise in IT and clinical data systems.
Ensure compliance with data security protocols and regulatory requirements in customer engagements.
Safeguard sensitive information through understanding of data classification practices.
Act as the Point of Contact (PoC) overseeing on-site deployment, including infrastructure and cloud components at research sites.
Ensure seamless integration of technologies, with adherence to deployment timelines.
Provide expertise in middleware systems and interface engines, such as Mulesoft.
Assist in supporting Institutional Review Board (IRB), Anti-Research Board (ARB), and security reviews for customer deployments.
Actively engage with the IHE committee, managing the planning and execution of IHE Connecthon and RSNA IAIP showcase.
Contribute to AI/NLP protocoling model development in healthcare, including training, inference, and model deployment.
Qualifications:
Experience with healthcare IT technologies, including imaging modalities (PACS, RIS), clinical information systems (EMR, EHR), and healthcare interoperability.
Expertise in DICOM, HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and IHE standards for data integration.
Experience with EMR interoperability, particularly with Epic systems.
Experience in research collaboration, AI co-development, and scientific development in the healthcare industry.
Experience managing clinical data integration activities, customer deployments, and technical challenges.
Proficiency in middleware systems and interface engines (e.g., Mulesoft).
Expertise in data security protocols and regulatory compliance in healthcare.
Strong communication skills for facilitating cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams, customers, and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments.
Knowledge of healthcare networking requirements and data exchange standards.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
