Job Title: Electrical Assembler (2nd shift)
Pay Rate: $20 to $21.36/Hr
Duration: 3 Months (High Potential of permanent conversion based on performance)
Location: Wendell, NC
Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM M-F (2nd shift)
Job description:
- Perform sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring work to the highest level of accuracy and workmanship
- Work with large power cables including the correct method of crimping connectors
- Perform proper stripping and crimping techniques
- Assemble components on panels per given layout or drawings
Qualifications
- 1 years’ experience performing mechanical assembly(build) of product
- 1 years’ experience with commercial or industry wiring
- Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists with minimal to no supervision
- Experience working with standard hand and power tools both pneumatic and battery operated and wiring tools such as hand crimpers, wire strippers, and accurately read a tape measure.
- Must be a strong team player
- Conform with environmental and occupational health and safety policy and management system and strive to improve the intended outcomes of the management system continually.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possess some knowledge of electrical clearances
- Associate degree or technical training in an area of responsibility
- Please note: training will be done on 1st shift (one to two months) prior to being moved to the 2nd shift
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $21.36 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
