Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Pay Rate: $25 to $28.31/HR
Duration: 12 months
Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM
Job description:
- Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, and other lab support duties
- Low-complexity manufacturing operations (buffer mfg) and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance, and/or cleaning)
- Glassware washing
- Material inventory monitoring support
- Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet the weekly schedule
- Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed
- 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations
Requirements:
- This is an entry-level position in a manufacturing group responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays.
- High school diploma with strength in science and math or relevant work experience, or B.S./B.A./A.S. in a relevant field
- Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred.
- Local candidates are preferred.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well-developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $28.31 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
