Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler
Pay Rate: $20 to $22/HR
Duration: 8 months
Location: Madison, AL (Onsite)

Note: 12 Hour Days - 8 AM - 8 PM - Friday - Sunday

Job Description:

• Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific directions which may include shipping and receiving. Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
• Conveys materials using a wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or using a power hoist.
• 12 Hour Days - 8 AM - 8 PM - Friday - Sunday
• Two or more years of experience preferred, but not required
• Must have Forklift experience, be able to count, and lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
