What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Aide – Coding & Robotics position at Coding with Kdog?
We are looking for Teacher’s Aides or Substitute teachers we can train to be Coding & Robotics Specialists. As a coding specialist, you will step into traditional K-6 classrooms to lead engaging lessons such as teaching 1st grade students how to create animated stories, 2nd and 3rd grade students how work as a team to complete robotics challenges, and 4th and 5th grade students how to create their own video games. Bring your love for children, and desire to learn and grow, and we will show you how to teach coding & robotics with our outstanding curriculum.
Part-time
15 - 25 hours per week (between 8am – 2pm)
Our teachers generally work 3-6 hours a day, four days a week
Term
9-10 month school year (Sept – June)
Class assignments typically start a week or two after school begins, and continue to the end of the school year, with a possible summer camp in June.

Coding with Kdog was founded by Game Developer Brent Kollmansberger to share his passion for programming and game design by teaching kids how to create their own computer games! Coding with Kdog provides Coding & Robotics instruction for K-8 schools through our Little Coder, Champion Robotics and Young Game Developer programs. Our passion is to help students express their creativity and solve problems with code as they develop critical thinking skills and coding literacy. We currently serve students and teachers at seven elementary schools and are growing. Students absolutely LOVE our classes, and so do we.

* Must pass school district drug screening, Live Scan background check and complete mandated reporter training.
Salary : $22 - $30
