Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Piano Teacher who is passionate about working with kdis and adults. You will have the opportunity to work with kids ages 5-17 and adults and provide valuable services to clients. This position offers paid training.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with parents after each lesson by emailing lesson notes
- Teach and plan for private and group lessons
- Prepare for recitals by assigning appropriate repertoire to the students
- Prepare students for festival competitions 2x per year and the National Theory Test
- Help with event preparations when necessary (recitals, performance, competitions, etc.)
- Communicate with the owner regarding any issues that occur in lessons
- Provide exceptional service throughout lessons and interactions with parents
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of music, music theory, and music history
- Adequate experience with performing
- Basic computer skills
As a Piano Teacher, you will be working mainly during after school hours from 3:30-6:30, Monday-Friday. This position offers the opportunity for growth and advancement within Codington Music Studio.
