Job Title : Elementary Physical Education

Supervisor : Chief of Student and Community Advancement

Start Date : Immediately

Hours : Monday through Friday; LMS 8 : 00am-4 : 45pm

Description : The Elementary Physical Education teacher is responsible for all Physical Education and wellness programming at the lower school and is an advocate for nutrition, physical fitness, and health education. Codman Academy’s Wellness philosophy is founded on a strong connection between physical health, youth leadership development, and intellectual growth.

Qualifications - Required

Education : Hold a Bachelor's degree.

Hold a Massachusetts Teaching License in Physical Education at the appropriate level.

Meet all state and federal guidelines in order to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified.

Ability to meet the Standards of Effective Teaching established by Codman Academy as outlined above.

Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment.
