About the Role
As the Inventory Master Data Specialist you will be expected to cultivate MRP best practices for and in collaboration with the business, as well as to maintain the highest integrity of the ERP material data set.
Responsibilities:
- Execute changes to SAP master data (e.g. material, purchasing info records, bill of material, etc.) as approved by the
- business
- Coordinate material and finished product master data setup, validations, and periodic maintenance
- Perform mass updates within SAP
- Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions
- Work with business units and process experts to resolve master data issues
- Support system users in compiling, submitting, reviewing, and approving master data requests
- Facilitate data management and resolution of data quality issues
- Analyze data quality for continuous improvement within the MRP area to ensure optimal efficiency and, if
- applicable, initiate changes to improve process and data throughput
- Collaborate and support data conversion, mapping, and integration of master data across all systems
- Support continuous improvement and conflict resolution between all related systems (IES, Vault, PLM,
- Webshop)
- Assist business process experts in defining standard operating procedures, process flows, and related documentation
What You Need to Be Successful
- Proficiency with SAP/MRP Management Systems.
- 5 years minimum experience in an MDM or Supply Chain role.
- CPIM certification desirable
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook, and query tools.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and strong initiative and finishing skills.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to achieve deadlines in a changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Initiative-taking attitude towards continuous learning and ability to align data management practices with
- business goals.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
