SUMMARY:
Ensure that tasks and projects are completed during the scheduled shift. The Custodial Maintenance Team Lead may supervise shift personnel as designated by Custodial Maintenance Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise staff to ensure department duties and goals are met as mandated by Custodial Maintenance Manager.
- Assist manager in documenting shift personnel, attendance, and scheduling.
- Report shift performance and accomplishments of duties, goals, and tasks on the daily maintenance form providing one copy to the manager and placing one copy in the individual log.
- Ensure all tables, chairs, and other equipment is set up for all bingo sessions, workshops, and special events.
- Clean appropriate facilities after all bingo session, workshops, and special events.
- Assist work team in maintaining cleanliness of all interior carpets, floors, restrooms, tables, chairs, windows, machines, glass doors, blinds, offices, entries, walls, outside of gaming machines and their bases, and other interior fixtures to include dusting, waxing, and polishing all inside vertical and horizontal surfaces and documenting completions of these projects on the daily maintenance form.
- Remove snow and de-ice sidewalks and walkways as needed.
- Load/unload equipment and/or supplies as needed by casino.
- Submit written notification to facility maintenance manager of any fixture or equipment not working properly.
- Attend all department team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as delegated by manager.
- Immediately notify manager on duty or bingo manager of any complaints or concerns customers may have and bring manager to the customer to achieve positive resolution if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Must have strong verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
- Professional conduct including good attendance and ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of custodial equipment and its uses preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
