SUMMARY:
Accepts customer vehicles at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel front entrance, parks the vehicles in the designated locations, and retrieves them at the customer’s request. The Valet Attendant will also assist hotel guests with their luggage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept, park, secure, and retrieve customer vehicles.
- Accurately complete all forms and tickets.
- Greet guests and extend courteous services including offering important information in regards to the casino, events, and other pertinent information.
- Assist guests with their luggage at beginning and end of their stay including transporting luggage to and from their cars and hotel rooms.
- Maintain condition of the bell carts.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- Must be able to acquire a Gaming License.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and provide evidence of a clean driving record for a minimum of the past two years.
- One year of related experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Maintain positive working environment for hotel and casino staff.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Must have the ability to multi-task between multiple skills (valet vs. shuttle vs. bell) during any given shift.
- Exemplary organization skills.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills required.
- Must be able to follow directions with minimal supervision.
- Basic problem solving skills required.
- Interpersonal skills required.
- Must be subservient and friendly with guests and coworkers at all times.

This job is classified as a heavy strength and stamina category position. A person in this position will exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand up to 8 hours per day; run up to 200 yards sometimes up to 50 times a day; walk and multi-task between bell, shuttle and valet. This person must be able to lift wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers vehicles); perform repetitive activities; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must push, pull, twist, and reach above shoulder height. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.
