SUMMARY:
The Surveillance Operator will monitor all activities at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel utilizing electronic means to ensure the protection of company assets, property, patrons, and employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform video monitoring of all personnel, customers, and casino operations.
- Promptly report suspicious activities according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Document criminal activity, liability issues, and noncompliance with gaming and organizational policies and procedures.
- Observe, record, and report daily casino operations.
- Maintain records, logs, and documents in an orderly manner.
- Work closely with and supports the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel security staff.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- Must be able to obtain a Coeur d’Alene tribal gaming license.
- Applicant must submit a letter of intent and resume.
- Applicant must have prior law enforcement, security, surveillance, military, or casino experience.
- Applicant must be able to type twenty words a minute.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or classes in English, grammar, etc. preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong computerized word processing skills and basic computer skills required.
- Strong English language and grammatical skills required.
- Must have legible handwriting.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Must have a strong attendance history.
- Must be punctual.
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be adept at managing conflict and influencing outcomes.
- Must have excellent multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Strong organization skills preferred.
- The ability to search for solutions or new applications in differing situations required.
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions precisely.

This job is classified as a sedentary strength category position. If hired, and the applicant leaves the surveillance department for any reason, you are not eligible for re-hire in any area of the casino that is regulated by the gaming mics for a period of six months, unless approved by the CEO.
