Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our coffee shop, including drive-thru services. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Manager to ensure seamless operations, exceptional customer experiences, and effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of the coffee shop and drive-thru to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Help optimize drive-thru workflows for speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
Team Leadership:
- Support in recruiting, training, and supervising employees
- Foster a positive and motivated work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability
Customer Service:
- Ensure high-quality customer service in the café and drive-thru, addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor service quality to create a welcoming and efficient experience for customers
Financial Oversight:
- Assist in managing budgets and controlling costs to meet profitability goals
- Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and financial best practices
Inventory and Supply Management:
- Help manage inventory levels and stock control to ensure product availability and quality
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and resolve any supply chain issues
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and operational standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the coffee or food service industry
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and customer service best practices
