Overview
Coffee Distributing Co., a division of Canteen, and New York’s largest full-service coffee, water, and pantry providers is looking for an experienced professional account manager who will be the primary point of contact for customers and is responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships and improving the overall customer experience. They are also responsible for identifying opportunities to increase sales, implementing cost-saving measures for their company, anticipating and proactively taking charge of difficult situations, find solutions for clients in line with Coffee Distributing Co’s resources.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for site visits and client retention
- Introduce new products to increase revenue
- Ensure we are compliant with local and national account standards
- Develop an account level incremental sales plan with local management
- Coordinate efforts to improve the customer retention and client experience at the point of sale
- Assess performance by location through audit reports (Quarterly District Evaluations)
- Assist Clients with all their breakroom needs
Experience
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred; two-year College degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
- Preferred 1-2 year's experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Retail and merchandising experience is preferred
- Food & beverage experience
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills required
- Must be able to travel to client sites
- Must be passionate about providing world class service to our clients and customers
