Role Overview
CNC is seeking a Production Director, Experiential to lead and mentor our production team while executing high-impact brand activations, pop-ups, and experiential campaigns. This role requires a hands-on leader who not only ensures seamless execution but also fosters a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence within the team. The ideal candidate understands how to partner internally with finance, sales, and creative teams to drive success and is well-versed in the agency business model, including RFP processes and revenue-generating strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous learning.
- Oversee all aspects of experiential production, from ideation to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality.
- Partner with internal teams (finance, sales, creative, client services) to align production needs with business objectives and drive operational excellence.
- Develop and manage production timelines, budgets, and execution plans while maintaining a strategic focus on agency profitability and growth.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, fabricators, production crews, and event staff. Look for bigger picture efficiencies and cost savings.
- Track expenses and reconcile budgets post-event, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with agency goals.
- Lead RFP responses and contribute to new business efforts by showcasing production expertise and strategic execution capabilities.
- Continuously research new production methodologies and agency best practices to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Oversee post-event breakdown, storage, and asset management.
