Requirements:
- Barista experience
- Positive, proactive, and friendly attitude
- Flexible schedule
- Works well under pressure
- 20-25 hours /week, depending on your availability
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Always on time and shows up to work with a positive, proactive attitude
- Making and serving hot and cold beverages including coffee, specialty espresso drinks, and beer/wine
- Welcoming customers and helping them to determine their coffee interests
- Educating customers about the menu options
- Opening and closing the shop
- Cash handling
- Maintaining inventory daily
- Keeping equipment clean and in running order
- Basic food preparation and service
Base hourly rates up to $17.50 per hour plus cash and pooled tips (average of additional $5-7/hour!)
