Definition

Responsibilities
- Liaise with Client or Operations manager/Engineer
- Reporting to Senior Electrical Technician
- Be cognizant of costs and how those costs
- Ensure that HSQE Management Systems and processes are adhered to.
- Respond to all service requests in a timely fashion
- Maintain the company’s reputation in all dealings with the Client
- Complete SSOW’s or follow process specific method statements
- Ensure that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn when required.
- Report any accident/incident which results in an injury to any person (not just employees) in accordance with Company Policy.
- Report any unsafe situation observed to one’s line manager.
- Ensure any defect regarding company vehicles is noted and head office informed.
- Carry out work in a safe manner.
- Use correct equipment for job.
- Keep tools and equipment in good condition.
- Ensure you wear appropriate PPE bespoke to the activities
- Keep up to date with new equipment and methodologies
- Act as electrical commissioning engineer on design build projects
About You
- 5 years plus experience in the construction industry an advantage.
- Relevant qualification – FETAC/City & Guilds or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the water and waste water industry would be an advantage.
- Ability to read electrical and PNID drawings.
- Must be flexible in working hours.
- To be able to work on own initiative and to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and to work at height.
- Full driving license.
