Skills Required:
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in maintaining, implementing, or supporting an Order Management System (OMS) within the investment industry.
- Strong experience with OMS solutions such as Charles River Development, Aladdin, SimCorp, Thinkfolio, Bloomberg AIM, or Enfusion.
- Deep understanding of financial instruments, including bonds (bank loans, CLO s, corporates), derivatives, and FX.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards such as FIX protocol and SWIFT messaging.
- Experience writing and managing business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plans.
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimizing workflows, particularly within trading and investment management functions.
- Experience with electronic trading platforms (e.g., Tradeweb, MarketAxess, TSOX, EMSX, Flextrade).
- Understanding pre, post and batch compliance.
- Experience with SQL queries or programming knowledge in Python.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose technology-driven solutions to enhance business operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead discussions to drive consensus on project requirements and priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to provide training and support to end-users, ensuring smooth transitions and effective use of new technology solutions.
- A proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
