GENERAL
Position Overview
Under the direction of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager or Clinical Coordinator, the Registered Nurse provides patient care, handles intake and discharge processes. and may serve as a Case Manager for a group of assigned Wound Care Center patients, depending on the center’s setup.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience
Medical surgical, Home Health or Wound Care certification preferred. Previous wound care experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic computer skills; strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Licenses / Certifications / Registries
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas with renewal as required by law; BLS
