Position Title : Product Manager / Associate Product Manager, Corporate Services (2 positions)

Location : New York

Employment Type : Fulltime – Exempt

Hours : 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm

Cogency Global, a leader in corporate compliance services, is seeking a Product Manager and an Associate Product Manager to manage our extensive suite of corporate-related services. This position will be focused on the success of our Corporate Services product lines that include Formations, Qualifications, Registered Agent, Amendments, Dissolutions, Conversions, Mergers, Corporate Transparency Act, etc., and our electronic platforms that support these services and transactions.

The Product Manager and Associate Product Manager Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Product Strategy : Defining the product's vision, roadmap, and features, and aligning them with our company's goals.
  • Research : Analyzing the market and competitors, and gathering user feedback to identify product needs.
  • Planning : Creating timelines and roadmaps, and ensuring that products are developed on time and within budget.
  • Execution : Overseeing the development process, and ensuring the product meets customer expectations
  • Product Lifecycle : Managing the product throughout its lifecycle, including tracking releases and participating in reviews
  • Marketing : Working with Marketing and Sales to define the go-to-market strategy, and developing sales tools and collateral
  • Communication : Working with stakeholders across the company to keep progress on track, and communicating the product's vision to the public
  • Product Pricing : Setting pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Product Partnerships : Working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.

The skills, experience and qualifications required :

  • 5 – 10 years of service company industry experience at a corporate formation service company or in a law firm or in-house legal department as a corporate transactional attorney or paralegal.
  • Ability to train and coach Operations and Sales on the launch of new products.
  • Competent presentation skills
  • Conduct public CLE webinars related to their products.
  • Ability to work with public filing offices and outside vendors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, preferably Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
  • Organizational skills and be detail-oriented, with great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work to high standards of quality and meet deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable with making decisions with imperfect information and be able to lead without authority.
  • Law Degree, BA degree or Associate degree.
