Responsibilities
- Searching. retrieving, preparing, and filing documents domestically with various government agencies(including legal, corporate, and UCC documents)
- Drafting, filing and following-up on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
- Processing and retrieving Library, Court, and Government Agency documents.
- Interacting directly with clients, clerks, and vendors by phone and email
- Functioning effectively on your own and as a member of a team
- Learning and utilizing industry standard and proprietary software applications.
- Creating, maintaining, and delivering various types of MS Excel/PDF charts and reports
- Additional ad hoc projects as determined by your supervisor and manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer/research skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
- Excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task effectively, work to high standards of quality, and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work independently and function as part of a team.
- Corporate transactional experience and/or UCC searching/filing experience preferred but not required.
Additional Information
Job Type: Full-time Non-Exempt; M-F Hours: 9 a.m – 5 p.m. Salary Range: $45k-$49k DOE
Salary : $45,000 - $49,000
