Operates and maintains bindery equipment to achieve client specifications and assists management in planning and producing finished product in a timely and efficient manner.

- Forklift/power floor jack experience preferred
- Stage product in bindery area
- Read and understand work order prior to commencing work
- Program, set-up and operate folders and cutters accurately
- Heavy lifting if necessary (75-100 lbs.)
- Sweep and clean bindery work area to maintain a safe work environment
- Clean and maintain bindery equipment (folders, cutters, banders, unloaders, etc.)
- Organize and put away bindery materials as needed
- Inspection of printed product as needed
- Assist other departments as needed
- Ability to read, write, and figure general math problems
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
- Lawson cutter experience preferred
- Stahl folder experience preferred
- BOSS and Accu-Cut programming is a plus
- Ability to work with various equipment used in shop (hand bander, panel saw, miter saw, drill, power floor jack, forklift)
- Lithograph print press experience a large plus!
- Ability to comprehend direction from supervisor
- Good command of English language, to effectively communicate and understand direction
- Ability to apply common sense understanding of equipment and assist bindery and maintenance personnel in troubleshooting equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude is essential
