Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and monitors company environmental compliance programs and policies within technical telecom facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Develops, implements, and monitors company safety programs and policies within technical facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Monitors environmental and industrial compliance and maintains liaison with appropriate regulatory agencies
• Recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist.
• Ability to inspect technical facilities to ensure compliance to all applicable regulations and safety requirements
• Strong management, organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills to ensure an effective and well-run team of environmental compliance and safety specialists
  
  

Qualifications (Include Education Requirements, Experience Level, Required Skills):

• Travel 50%
• Related Bachelor's degree and five years’ work experience with a minimum of five years environmental and safety regulatory experience
• A minimum of three to five years of experience in applying OSHA and federal EPA regulations
• A minimum of three to five years of experience managing technical or environmental activities in telecom or other technical facilities
• A minimum of three to five years of experience developing improved processes for reduced employee or facility risk
• A minimum of three to five years of experience managing direct reports or relevant experience.
• Strong management skills with the ability to effectively implement and oversee a team of compliance specialists; ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize projects and programs within a team structure; strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• High-energy individual with interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate peers, and drive project to completion.
• Intermediate Microsoft application experience; ability to quickly and effectively learn internal systems/tools
