Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Albany, NY Contract Role
Job duties:
The Data Analyst will be working on a project involving multiple reporting platforms and will be responsible for:
- Identifying and sourcing data from various sources (databases, spreadsheets, Peoplesoft)
- Analyze financial data for errors and discrepancies
- Cleaning and preparing data for analysis, including handling missing values, inconsistencies, and errors.
- Creating clear and concise visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to present findings to stakeholders.
- Communicating findings and recommendations in a way that is easy to understand and actionable.
- Working with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and define problems to be addressed.
- Collaborating with other team members
The following skills sets are strongly preferred:
- Peoplesoft
- Proficient in Excel including Vlookup and Xlookup, multiple spreadsheet manipulation, sorting and filtering.
- Statistical analysis
