Shift : 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday
Duration : 6 months (26week)
Pay Rate : $22 / hr.
Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to join our healthcare team in Carmel, NY. The technician will assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and sanitized while providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of endoscopic equipment and procedure rooms.
Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of endoscopy instruments and equipment.
Support physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments and ensuring patient safety.
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, following standard protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, equipment usage, and sterilization processes.
Qualifications & Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in Endoscopy Technology preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician or in a related healthcare role.
Knowledge of endoscopic procedures, equipment handling, and sterilization techniques.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus.
