We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Analyst to support the transformation initiative for the Financial Books and Records (FB&R) project. This role will focus on the transition to a new statewide ledger platform and requires strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop current and future state process maps of financial operations to identify and implement efficiencies.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of budget processes.
- Support the migration of financial data to the new system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Identify the change impact of the new Chart of Account (COA) structure on budget processes.
- Design, develop, and code financial processes using databases, Excel, and SQL.
- Develop and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial operations.
- Create and execute test plans to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure a successful transition.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in systems analysis or financial reporting.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Access.
- Experience in process and data mapping.
