We currently have a role available for a Flow Cytometry Specialist.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performing routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of flow cytometry instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Providing training and support to new and existing users, including one-on-one sessions and group workshops.
- Assisting users with data analysis and interpretation, ensuring accurate and meaningful results.
- Managing scheduling of instrument usage and maintaining detailed records of instrument performance and usage.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the facility.
- Collaborating with other departments to support ongoing research projects and initiatives.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to:
- BS-Biology, Molecular Biology or a related field with minimum of 5 years of industrial (pharma preferred) lab experience outside of academia, 2 years of direct experience in flow cytometry, including instrument operation, maintenance, and data analysis. MS in the same fields with 2 years of industrial lab experience outside of academia will also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Works well both as a team and as an individual.
- Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
