We currently have a role available for a Pharma Analytical Chemist.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying, characterizing and purifying pharmaceutical compounds using analytical and chromatographic techniques (UPLC, HPLC, SFC, LC-MS, etc.).
- Conducting basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation as needed.
- Developing methods on LC and SFC.
- Investigating LC-MS columns/methods for specific projects.
- Working as a team with other chemists, external resources and data management groups.
- Providing critical feedback to improve workflow and chemistry performance and
implementation of best practices.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to:
- BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field with 3 years of pharma laboratory experience outside of academia.
- Hands-on experience with Waters and Agilent instrumentation (LC, LC-MS, UPLC).
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Works well both within a team and as an individual.
- Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
- The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and
communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary
environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
