We currently have a role available for a Bioanalytical Chemist.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Processing biological samples (plasma, urine, tissues, etc.) using various techniques such as 2 phase extractions and protein precipitation.
- Analyzing biological samples, focusing on small molecule analysis by LC/MS/MS.
- Troubleshooting instrumentation including Agilent and Shimadzu HPLC systems as well as Sciex and Agilent triple quad mass spectrometers.
- Handling lab organization.
- Integrating large amounts of data as well as learning state of the art software, etc.
- Analyzing high throughput experimentally (HTE) generated samples using standard reverse-phase HPLC and UPLC methods as well as analyzing/triaging data from a variety of software.
- Performing enzymatic reactions to prepare antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) samples for LC-MS analysis.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to:
- BS – Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field with 1-3 years of industry experience (preferably pharma).
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Works well both as a team and as an individual.
- Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
Salary : $47,000 - $51,000
