Class C Delivery Driver.

Essential Job Functions

· Conduct inspection of company vehicle before departing to deliver goods.

· Keep company vehicle clean (inside and out), and ensure that it is well maintained with fuel, oil, and is ready to drive.

· Pack and load products onto truck according to Company’s policy.

· May have to lift products or parcels (must be able to lift 75 lbs.)

· Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.

· Unload goods as per customer's requirements.

· Review deliveries with customers to ensure product accuracy.

· Obtain delivery confirmation from each customer.

· Maintain ongoing communication with warehouse dispatcher.

· Inform management of any obstruction to making safe and efficient deliveries on time.

· Report all delivery discrepancies to warehouse dispatcher while at customer’s location.

· Ensure that both general and preventive measures are performed on the vehicle.

· Fill in pertinent information such as mileage, and departure and delivery time on company manifest and/or provided logbook.

Minimum Qualifications

· Ability to pass a driving test, drug test, and reference checks

· Clean driving record within the last 3 years

· Minimum one (1) year of experience as a delivery driver (box truck and/or tractor trailer)

· Valid Class C California Driver License

Position Type

This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is Monday through Friday. (Hours may vary during peak demand season and/or depending on the assigned route). Second runs (deliveries) and/or same-day deliveries may be part of the position. Overtime may be required as needed.
