Warehouse associate- Receiver/Order Puller

Essential Job Functions

· Inspects, unloads and receive inbound freight shipment deliveries in accurate, thorough, and efficient manner in accordance with established Company standards and procedures.

· Fulfills orders as per the picking list.

· Put away product and move product from locations in accordance with warehouse needs

· Experience with RF scanners a plus

· Practices and adheres to established safety rules and policies, as well as, established housekeeping standards. Performs equipment safety review. Reports any violations or hazards to management immediately.

· Operates assigned warehouse equipment in performing the functions of the job.

· Communicates with outside vendors to coordinate pick ups.

· May have to lift products or parcels (must be able to lift 75 lbs.).

· Perform any assigned tasks as assigned by other warehouse managers.

Minimum Qualification

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

· 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred.

· Understand different unit of measures along with proficiency of basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)

· Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required.

· Ability and willingness to take initiative.

· Ability to work under pressure, with multiple and changing deadlines, in a fast-paced working environment.

· Basic computer skills

· Great attention to detail

· Must be a team player

· Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a good attendance record.

· Must possess a positive and professional attitude and strong communication skills.

· Strong communication and listening skills.

· Safety focused.

· Follow all company guidelines.

· May be assigned other tasks by warehouse manager or supervisor.

This is a temporary position, and the work schedule is Monday through Friday. Hours may vary during peak demand season and/or depending on the shift. Overtime may be required as needed.
