Cogent Technology Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper to join our team. This flexible, part-time position is ideal for a stay-at-home parent, retired professional, or anyone looking to contribute their bookkeeping skills part-time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Collect Mail from the Post Office 3 times per week
- Prepare and record bank deposits.
- Generate and maintain financial reports.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Assist with other general bookkeeping and accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience using QuickBooks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Background in business bookkeeping (education and/or experience).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
