Cogents Kansas City location has an excellent opportunity for a self-motivatedControl Systems Engineerwith strong technical, communication, and decision-making skills. This is a good fit for an Engineer that wants to be involved in all aspects of a project from conceptual design through system development to final commissioning.
Numerous system integration opportunities serving the Industrial, Power & Energy, Manufacturing, Commercial, Water and Wastewater Industries. As Control Systems Engineer you will be a key link in the development and delivery of control systems and technical services to Cogent customers. Responsible for multiple aspects of the design, development, start-up, troubleshooting and service of the various equipment control systems offered by the Cogent family of companies. Successful candidates will have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment to build long term customer relationships.
Position Responsibilities Include :
- System design and development, start up and commissioning
- PLC / HMI / MMI Control System Programming
- Development of SCADA Systems and Communications Networks
- Develop Web Based Interface and Historian Applications
- Instrumentation and Process Control Design and Integration
- Electrical, Motor Controls and Variable Frequency Drives
- Custom Control Panel Design
- Interconnect Drawing Creation
- Project Management
- Prepare System Specifications
- Technical Sales Assistance & Scope of Supply Development
