What will you do as a Housekeeper?
- Collect, sort, and launder resident personal clothing and community linens (sheets, towels, blankets, etc.).
- Follow proper procedures for washing, drying, folding, and ironing, ensuring appropriate care for delicate items and fabrics.
- Label, track, and return laundry items promptly to the appropriate residents or storage areas.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor laundry supplies and report inventory needs or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area at all times.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and community policies regarding cleanliness and hygiene.
- Provide friendly, respectful service when interacting with residents and staff.

- A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior laundry or housekeeping experience, especially in a healthcare or senior living setting, is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate attitude and willingness to treat residents with dignity and respect.
