L2 Desktop Support Technician needed for a contract to hire position in New York, NY! Will also have to visit 2 locations in NJ from time to time for support.
*** Hours of Operation are 7am - 5pm. Will work 40-45 hours per week. ***
Job Description:
Level 2 deskside technician support.
Duties Include:
Level 2 deskside services and manufacturing support including, but not limited to, issues related to desktops, laptops and peripherals, including printers, set up and configuration of computers for new users and are responsible for any physical work relating to the computers, such as repairing software or hardware issues and moving workstations to another location. Candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication, customer service skills and be reliable. A certification preferred. Candidate must be willing to obtain A certification within 6 months of hire date. ALL RESOURCES IDEALLY WILL HAVE THE COVID VACCINES. This is a manufacturing environment.
Experience must include:
- AD administration – distribution lists access and creation, creating service accounts, Client user accounts provisioning, resource mailboxes access and creation, misc. permissions, reset passwords
- SCCM – software distribution and remote control
- Exchange experience – apply send as and full mailbox permissions, distribution list management, email name changes
- Service Now ticketing system experience
- Executive support experience
- VPN/MFA experience
- Troubleshooting skills
- Hardware Upgrades
- Windows 10 / 11 experience
- O365 Console experience
- Canon Secure Print and Client printer troubleshooting
- Zebra printer experience a plus
- WorkSpace One a Plus
Job responsibilities:
- Reactive support and manage service requests and incidents
- Executive/VIP support
- Scheduled executive meeting support
