- 3-years minimum experience as a supervisor of (10) or more skilled production staff.
- 3-years minimum hands-on experience working in welding, fabrication or machine shop positions in leadership roles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Experienced in implementing and enforcing QA/QC programs and procedures.
- Expert level knowledge of all welding methods, procedures, and quality control.
- Working knowledge of all tools and equipment.
- Able to manage multiple projects, look ahead, anticipate, adjust and advise involved stakeholders accordingly.
- Identify and report defective processes, product, fixtures, equipment, etc.
- Exhibit safe working practices and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Flexible in duties, and willing to perform anything outside of the normal job description when needed.
- Have a positive attitude; teach and lead when needed, take initiative to get things done.
- Continually provide value.

Skill Requirements:
- Adept at assembly line best practices and manufacturing line safety procedures.
- Knowledge of assembly line manufacturing processes from material finishing and assembly through packaging, labeling and quality control.
- Hands-on experience with parts assembly, product packaging and kitting production operations.
- Experience in fabrication, prototyping and production manufacturing.
- Understanding of machine set up and performing basic maintenance on various types of manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with reading, interpreting and following basic drawings, schematics or blueprints.
- Good written and verbal communication.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate, vocational training, and/or on-the-job experience equivalency.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
