Cognizant Engineering is seeking an experienced Mobile Designer with 13 to 15 years of experience in Ionic UI UX Designs Mobile Development - Android Mobile Development - IOS and Mobile design and development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality mobile applications that meet user needs and business objectives. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of mobile technologies and a passion for creating seamless user experiences.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of mobile applications using Ionic framework.Oversee the UI UX design process to ensure intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.Provide technical expertise in Android and IOS mobile development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to maintain application stability.Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure applications are current.Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and development techniques.Develop and maintain documentation for application architecture and design decisions.Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.Ensure compliance with security and data protection guidelines.QualificationsPossess strong experience in Ionic framework and mobile development.Have a deep understanding of UI UX design principles and best practices.Demonstrate expertise in both Android and IOS development.Show proficiency in mobile design and development.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Have strong communication and collaboration skills.Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Have a passion for creating high-quality mobile applications.Be committed to continuous learning and improvement.Possess a strong understanding of agile development methodologies.Be able to mentor and guide junior team members.Have experience with performance tuning and optimization.Show a commitment to maintaining high standards of security and data protection.Certifications Required !!!Certified Mobile Application Developer (CMAD) Certified Ionic DeveloperPlease note that this is a Hybrid work mode position and it's location will be at Tysons, VA (onsite) !!!The annual salary for this position is between $81K - $163K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits - Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements : Medical / Dental / Vision / Life InsurancePaid holidays plus Paid Time Off401(k) plan and contributionsLong-term / Short-term DisabilityPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer : The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
