Medical Coder (Remote)
This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Coder with 0 to 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mandatory technical skills in MS Excel and preferably domain skills in Eligibility and Membership (HC-Payer). This is a work-from-home position with day shifts and no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the company's success.
Responsibilities
- AAPC Certification is mandatory
- Should have at least 2 years of experience in the medical field, either through work or volunteer roles.
FACETS experience is an added advantage
Experience in Encoder Pro is an added advantage
Qualifications
Certifications Required
Certification in MS Excel or related field is preferred.
Salary and Other Compensation :
Applications will be accepted until January 18, 2025.
The hourly rate for this position is between $23.00 - 26.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
