Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Server Analysis Services MS Power BI Database and SQL. This role is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required. The Sr. Developer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data systems ensuring data integrity and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data systems using SQL Server Analysis Services to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Design and implement data models and schemas to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Create and manage complex SQL queries to extract transform and load data from various sources.
• Utilize MS Power BI to develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights.
• Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
• Document database designs configurations and procedures for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices for database development and reporting.
• Contribute to the overall success of the team by delivering high-quality data solutions that drive business value.

Qualifications

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $85,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
