Responsibilities :
- Own the management and optimization of services to ensure high performance and availability.
- Supervise the development and implementation of software solutions using Angular (2-16), Java 17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Guide in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
- Apply GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Supervise and analyze system performance using Splunk to ensure efficient operation.
- Handle incidents and service requests through Service Now.
- Implement and maintain data persistence using Java Persistence API and Oracle databases.
- Ensure the reliability and security of applications running on Linux environments.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture using Spring Boot and Spring Core.
- Design and implement RESTful web services to support various business functions.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Fix and resolve complex technical issues to maintain service continuity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve service delivery and customer happiness
- Knowledge in resolving Security Vulnerabilities for OnPrem and Containerized applications.
Required Qualifications
We are seeking a guide Application Lead with 9 to 17 years of experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Java 17, Angular (2-16) , AWS, Kubernetes, Splunk, Service Now, Java Persistence API, Oracle, Node js, Linux, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Core, REST Web Services, and Oracle or PL / SQL.
This role requires a proactive individual who is flexible to support the production application 24
Also, willing to extend additional time to provide handshake to offshore and guide them for technical difficulties.
Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for the position is between $65,447- $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
