Azure Networking Lead
Location : Remote
Roles and responsibilities : -
- Responsible for Designing of Azure Networking Strategy adhering to Azure well architecture framework
- Design & Setup On-premises, Internet & DMZ Connectivity with Express Route, VPN Gateway, ensure optimal routing
- Ensures that the cloud design is adhering to required standards, high availability & DR requirements and industry based compliance needs
- Design & Create Azure Virtual Network
- Architect & Create Subnets
- Design & Implement Network Access Control
- Architect & Create Network Security Groups
- Design & Implement Routing
- Design & Establish Network Connectivity
- Design & Enable NSG Flow Logging
- Setup Application Gateway Logs
- Oversee the deployment and management of Azure Networking Services to ensure secure and efficient network operations
- Provide expertise in configuring and managing Azure Express Route to establish reliable and high-performance connections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Azure-based solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using Azure Functions to meet business requirements.
- DevOPs pipeline setup using IaC (terraform) for Azure resource build
- Conduct regular assessments of existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement security measures to protect data and infrastructure from potential threats.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Azure technologies to drive innovation.
- Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
Contribute to the development of infrastructure strategies and roadmaps to support long-term business objectives.
Salary and Other Compensation :
Applications will be accepted until 3 / 22 / 2024.
The annual salary for this position is between 120,000 - 140,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
