Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Data Scientist with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Google Big Query Microstrategy and IBM Infosphere Datastage. Experience in the merchandising domain is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets using Google Big Query to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Develop and maintain data models and reports using Microstrategy to support business decision-making.
• Utilize IBM Infosphere Datastage for data integration and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and implement data pipelines to streamline data processing and improve efficiency.
• Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive business growth.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes models and reports.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data science and analytics.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and concise presentations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Possess strong technical skills in Google Big Query Microstrategy and IBM Infosphere Datastage.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Demonstrate experience in data analysis data modeling and data integration.
• Show proficiency in developing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in the merchandising domain is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
• Be detail-oriented and committed to data accuracy and quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Be proactive in identifying and addressing data-related issues.
• Have a strong understanding of business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
