Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 11 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Spark in Scala Databricks Workspace Admin Databricks CLI Databricks Unity Catalog Delta Live Pipelines Structured Streaming Kafka Azure Monitor Azure Data Lake Store Azure Key Vault Azure Event Hub Python Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions using Spark in Scala and Databricks technologies.
• Oversee the administration of Databricks Workspace ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Provide expertise in Databricks CLI and Unity Catalog to manage and organize data assets effectively.
• Implement and manage Delta Live Pipelines for real-time data processing and analytics.
• Utilize Structured Streaming and Kafka to build robust data streaming solutions.
• Monitor and maintain data infrastructure using Azure Monitor and Azure Data Lake Store.
• Secure data assets with Azure Key Vault and manage event-driven architectures with Azure Event Hub.
• Develop and optimize data workflows using Python Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Ensure data solutions are scalable reliable and maintainable.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data architecture.

Qualifications

• Must have 11 to 14 years of experience in data architecture and related technologies.
• Must have strong expertise in Spark in Scala Databricks Workspace Admin Databricks CLI and Databricks Unity Catalog.
• Must have experience with Delta Live Pipelines Structured Streaming and Kafka.
• Must be proficient in Azure Monitor Azure Data Lake Store Azure Key Vault and Azure Event Hub.
• Must have strong programming skills in Python and experience with Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows.
• Must have excellent English language skills (Read/Write Speak).
• Nice to have experience with PySpark and other related technologies.
• Must be able to work from the office and be available for a day shift schedule.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development.

Certifications Required

• Databricks Certified Professional Data Engineer Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 - $ 150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
