OKTA Consultant

We are seeking an experienced App Security Architect with 9 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in OKTA and Access Management. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of security protocols and the ability to implement and manage security solutions effectively. The position is a day shift with no travel required. Responsibilities  Design and implement security architectures for applications to ensure robust protection against threats.  Oversee the integration of OKTA and Access Management solutions to streamline authentication processes.  Provide guidance on security best practices to development teams to enhance application security.  Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.  Collaborate with IT and business units to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.  Lead incident response efforts to quickly address and mitigate security breaches.  Develop and maintain documentation for security architectures policies and procedures.  Monitor security trends and emerging threats to proactively address potential risks.  Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for application security.  Support the development of security training programs to educate employees on security awareness.  Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance the organizations security posture.  Work closely with stakeholders to understand security requirements and deliver effective solutions.  Provide technical expertise and support during security-related projects and initiatives. Qualifications  Possess a strong understanding of OKTA and Access Management solutions.  Have a proven track record of designing and implementing security architectures.  Demonstrate experience in conducting security assessments and audits.  Show expertise in incident response and mitigation strategies.  Exhibit knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.  Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.  Be able to develop and deliver security training programs.  Be proficient in evaluating and recommending security tools and technologies.  Have the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.  Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  Show a commitment to staying updated on security trends and emerging threats.  Have experience in developing and maintaining security documentation.  Be capable of providing technical support during security projects and initiatives. The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
